The Provincial Government of Nova Scotia has opened the 2014-2015 intake period for the Global Business Accelerator Program (GBAP) and will be accepting applications from March 5th through to May 20th. The Global Business Accelerator Program (GBAP) provides financial assistance to Nova Scotia companies who want to work with a business accelerator with the skills, experience, and knowledge to support your company’s expansion into new markets. The program provides your business the support it needs to work with an industry expert here in Nova Scotia or abroad.

There are also “Going Global Workshops” being offered that are designed to help businesses make crucial importing or exporting decisions, avoid common pitfalls, and increase their understanding of International trade. Though these workshop are happening in person at the Waterfront Campus in Dartmouth and are being broadcasted by video conference to 12 NSCC campuses across Nova Scotia. The cost to attend is $125 +hst per workshop, however, the Export Ability Program (EAP) could potential help to cover up to 75% of the costs of workshop fees for eligible companies.
