Do you want to learn more about how you can identify opportunities in the UK Ocean Tech sector? This session will provide information on opportunities and a possbile new initiative to bring the two markets closer together.

Scott Wilson (Specialist, Technology & Engineering, Scottish Enterprise) and Murray Bainbridge (Inward Investment Specialist, Scottish Development International) will be delivering a presentation on the subsea opportunity programme currently being delivered by the enterprise agency in Scotland. This programme seeks to build on Scotland’s world class supply chain capability in subsea engineering and technology and has included significant investment in testing infrastructure, technology research and support for supply chain companies. Scottish Enterprise are proposing a collaboration agreement between Canada and Scotland to facilitate joint research activity for companies in both locations. The presentation will deliver an overview of activity in Scotland and provide an opportunity for Canadian organisations and companies to learn about how they could benefit from an international collaboration which would provide them with access to the significant opportunities within the UK offshore market across multiple sectors including oil & gas, renewable energy, marine defence and aquaculture.
