Career Opportunity

GeoSpectrum Technologies Inc. is growing and has a new opportunity for an experienced marine systems engineer who is passionate about architecting technical projects.

As a marine systems engineer you will specify, design, procure, and integrate GeoSpectrum’s cutting edge sonar systems. You will work across disciplines to help us build end-to-end systems that include hydrodynamics engineering, mechanical handling and towing systems, power electronics, digital signal electronics, controls engineering, and realtime data processing and operations software.

We build and test our systems in our Dartmouth factory and get them wet locally and globally, so this position requires in-person work at our facility and may present the opportunity for some field travel.

You will contribute to the program from the onset by generating system requirements and ICDs, maintaining requirements throughout the design and testing process of the program, and leading testing and verification activities prior to system delivery. The marine systems engineer also supports field activities including sea trials. This role requires someone who is a critical thinker, proactive problem solver, and thrives working across technical disciplines.
