Nova Scotia’s first Technology Access Centre, SEATAC supports Canadian businesses by providing research and development services. Drawing on Nova Scotia Community College’s (NSCC) resources and well-equipped facilities, SEATAC offers services that increase productivity and innovation of small- and medium-sized enterprises in the ocean sector.

SEATAC takes a market-driven approach to its role in the ocean innovation ecosystem, and provides efficient, responsive and customer-focused services. Our research and development services include mechanical/electrical design-and-build with an emphasis on prototyping and advanced manufacturing support. We also provide product testing, data analytics and communication, and advanced coastal mapping services. Companies working with us retain their intellectual property. 

SEATAC is co-located at the Centre for Ocean Ventures and Entrepreneurship (COVE) and the NSCC Ivany Campus.
