Torusoft was founded in 2009 by Chris Marriott and Ari Najarian and is incorporated in Nova Scotia. Our office is located in downtown Halifax in the historic Keith's Brewery Market on Lower Water Street. Torusoft currently has six full-time staff and one Chief Morale Officer, Harley Business Dog.
Torusoft develops a wide range of mobile, desktop, web, and database applications for Canada's defence industry, government, and private sector companies. We are proud to count Defence Research Development Canada, Royal Military College, research scientists, defence contractors, and several industry associations across Canada as customers.
Backstage is our 100% Canadian, private, and secure cloud hosting service for email, calendars, contacts, task management, secure chat, mailing lists, file sharing, word processing, spreadsheets, presentations and real-time collaboration. Backstage offers privacy, security, and integration in ways our advertising-driven competitors cannot. Our data centre is located in downtown Halifax and serves a wide range of clients in sectors including defence, legal, finance, government, health, manufacturing, agriculture, fisheries, small business and industry associations.
