Venture for Canada is connecting standout students on campus with growing rural and urban businesses in Atlantic Canada. As we’ve learned with the success of our Fellowship Program, youth are key to the new competitiveness and we are working to ensure all companies in our region have this advantage.
The program is open to emerging and established organizations in any industry, in all four Atlantic provinces. There is no cost to participate and wage subsidies of up to $5,000 are available. Subsidies of up to $7,000 are available for interns from underrepresented groups: women in STEM, Indigenous students, newcomers to Canada, persons with disabilities, and first-year students. Our competitive recruiting and extensive training means interns deliver more than you hoped.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, and we’re still placing students for September 2018 internships. The earlier we receive your application, the better chance of matching with the talent you need to take your business to the next level.
