The Blue Economy is generally seen as the innovative and sustainable use of ocean and freshwater resources for economic growth and improved livelihoods, fostering stewardship of water and the environment. In order to understand how Blue Futures can best meet the needs of the growing Blue Economy, the Students on Ice Foundation has received funding to undertake a landscape analysis. To inform our research, we are reaching out to Blue Economy stakeholders throughout Canada via telephone and/or online survey. We will be happy to share the asset map of our results once complete, and discuss partnership opportunities moving forward.
