Airbus is looking for start-ups and innovative SMEs with outstanding solutions that will help us shape the 4SEA2025 program at the Airbus Maritime Innovation Forum 2020. Both, technical innovations and new business models that improve customer value and solves maritime customer pain points are welcomed and invited to participate.
The selection criteria for the challenge is focusing on the three following areas (but not exclusively):
Airbus is interested in holistic approaches to further improve global maritime safety as we do in aerospace.
We are looking especially for solutions that facilitate automation of ship operations that can help reduce the impact of human error in the industry.
We are on the lookout for new concepts and ideas that further strengthen our leading maritime security product portfolio.
Areas of particular interest include solutions based on artificial intelligence as well as sensors with increased range and coverage.
Furthermore we are interested in working with partners that have already a footprint onboard ships networks (for IT/OT/IoT/IIoT).
We are seeking innovations that support the reduction of operating cost – particularly focusing on the optimization of fuel consumption, improvements around weather routing and end-to-end efficiency for port management – in order to support global world trade in a sustainable way.
You have an unique and innovative solution in terms of technology and/or the business model.
You can prove the maturity of your solution by demonstrating that it has been successfully tested in a customer relevant environment.
You already have references from business partners and customers.
Your company is already selling or is planning to do so in the near future.
Day 2:
Selected teams for partnerships will be invited to join a further extensive workshop with the relevant business units to convergence on mutual business opportunities.
Taking place in March 2020.
The official conference language will be English.
